Spiritual life is a voluntary and active endeavour of understanding oneself, the world around us and the source of everything (God). It begins by making ourselves the object of observation. Spiritual activities are therefore based on a scientific understanding of our real, or constitutional, identity as spiritual beings in relationship with God.
Śrīmad Bhagavad-Gītā or the Beautiful Song of God was spoken by the Supreme Lord Śrī Krishna more than 5,000 years ago on the Battlefield of Kurukṣetra to Arjuna for the benefit of mankind to help us understand the nature of life, matter (the world around us) and their interactions.
This course seeks to offer its participants an overview of the main principles, concepts and values of the Bhagavad-Gītā. It is meant for anyone who is thoughtful about the purpose and meaning of life and who wishes to make sense of the apparent contradictions and mysteries observed in the world in which we live through the lens of the Vedic teachings. Limited to 10 seats per course run.
